Roofers Near Tallahassee, Quincy and Crawfordville

Tallahassee and the Big Bend
Plenty of roofers near Tallahassee will drive anywhere for a big job. We keep to three places in Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties, so the estimator who looks at your roof can be back quickly to build it, and back again after the next storm. The towns sit within an easy drive of each other, but their houses, their trees and their weather are not quite the same. Each gets its own page.
Tallahassee
Older ranch homes and two-stories under live oaks, many on or near the canopy roads, with board decking under the shingles and limbs hanging over the ridge. Shade keeps some slopes damp, leaves fill the valleys and a storm can bring a whole limb down. A Tallahassee mailing address can fall under the city or under Leon County for the permit. The Tallahassee page covers the trees, the older roofs and how we work around both.
Quincy
Historic houses near the courthouse square and farmhouses further out, many with metal roofs, deep porches and tall pines in the yard. A lot of the work here is keeping an old metal roof going or matching a new one to the house. The Quincy page goes through metal repairs, porch roofs and what changes for a house in the historic district.
Crawfordville
Wakulla County homes between the national forest and the coast, where pine needles collect in every valley and Gulf storms arrive before they reach Tallahassee. Salt air nearer the water wears metal parts faster. The Crawfordville page covers pine debris, coastal fasteners and the county permit.
The same first step everywhere
Wherever you live, it starts with a free inspection of the roof, the attic and the trees over the house, photos by email and a written price line by line. See our roof repair and roof replacement pages for what the work involves, or book with the form on this page.
